Course Overview
The CHC40221 Certificate IV in School Based Education Support is designed to prepare you for a vital role in classrooms across Australia. As an education support worker, you’ll work under the guidance of teachers to provide individualised help to students, especially those with additional needs or learning challenges.
This course covers behaviour management strategies, working with diverse students, supporting literacy and numeracy, and creating inclusive learning spaces. You’ll also undertake real-world work placement to build your confidence and competence in the classroom.

Entry Criteria
Applicants must complete the following to determine suitability:
- Suitability Review (SDR)
- Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment.
